I want to create or find an image to have above my number of posts - where can I get them from?

On your computer screen you should have your name on a button top right (it should say "Welcome eyes") that will allow you to add or create your avatar, via 'Edit Profile'.

Hopefully this link will also serve as a shortcut, and not just show you MY avatar...

That is called an avatar my dear Eyes It represents your character. On this site you can create your own puppet, or you can load up an image that you think is appropriate.

If I receive a friend request from someone on here in the form of their character name, does this mean that their character wants to be friends with my character, or is it the person behind the character wants to be friends with me.

I don't want to be friends with their character (for purposes of the story) but I do want to be friends with the person behind the character!!

Any pointers gratefully received!

The way I understand it (if only because the option to be Enemies seems to have user specific details rather than character specific ones) is that it is a player friendship, not a character friendship.

Hey Eyes, it will make a difference when you go to PM someone. You can find them quickly under your friends tab. Cheers
