Frequently Asked Questions
Q. Are you aware the wiki is down?
A. Yes, sadly I am, something to do with software updates I don't know how to run and don't have the time to figure out. Here are some work arounds:1. Use the WayBack Machine.
The link to the wiki is wiki.tazlure.nl. Enter that in https://archive.org/web/ and you'll find about three link deep worth of sites. You need to take one of the older links, before the site broke down.
2. Look at the source code
A bit scrambled but all the info is there if you look at the source code.
3. Just use what is in our setting notes
Honestly, what I put up in the setting notes is probably the extend of what we'll be using, though some secrets may yet come out that I've been hoarding in the plotnotes of the old website.
Q. Do you still have my sheet?
A. No, I don't.Work arounds:
1. Check the wiki, see above
2. Check the Player compendiums at tazlure.nl if you still have access to your account.
Re: Frequently Asked Questions
Q. How do I get the secret information?
A. You may be fed tidbits in PM by me on what happened previously, what your character is aware of through the grapevine etc.Q. Am I allowed to know other characters?
A. Yes, I encourage it. Check who you might have run across based on your position and location. Check with the player if he or she is okay with that.Re: Frequently Asked Questions
Q What about my own house / shop etc ?
A. Indulge yourself (within your wealth limits) and do a write up. You can add it to the appropriate guidebook.Re: Frequently Asked Questions
Q. What about advertising and such?
A. I got annoyed with adds on my mobile so bought off the advertisements. A new URL will roll out in the coming days.Re: Frequently Asked Questions
Q. What if I don't have enough time?
A. Let me take away a misunderstanding some of you seem to struggle under: I am not expecting long essays. Rather I'm expecting posts of minimal 300 words a piece delivered with some consistency (two to three times a week), to keep up the speed and engagement that create excitement (for me at least) instead of endlessly waiting for each other. I think all of our veterans are experienced enough to deliver upon that even with family and work demands. Trust me, I suffer under them too, and yet I run an entire campaignSo, if you fear you'll let me down.. don't.. just join the fun, I know you want to
Re: Frequently Asked Questions
Q. What is the policy on number of threads?
A. No Flicker hugging. Try not to live out every second (flicker) of your life, and write 1-2 threads per tide max. This helps getting action go forward and thus people being involved with each other.Page 1 of 1
